I am a small batch illustrative ceramicist and artist, drawing from themes of daily ritual, vices, death and rebirth, the inner child, the masculine and the feminine. I find a great deal of magic in functional artwork. There’s an awareness in each piece, an exchange of energy between maker, buyer, user. Creating functional art makes me feel geeky & emotional :’)
I hope that my playful expression will bring you and your homes, cabinets, alters, loved ones, walls and tables a feeling of intimacy. Plus, I hope you look cool as hell drinking your morning coffee or ashing that nasty cigarette.
I’m currently making in the beautiful, artistic, queer community of Easthampton, MA where I manage a community pottery studio.
